The Conversation Point format is simple, easy, and effective. Our process matches leaders and guests in small, intimate groups of about eight people either around a conference table or in a salon-like setting. Value is exchanged when diverse people share ideas, feelings, and experiences in a spirit of respect, trust, curiosity, and caring.
Leaders create sessions based on their own ideas and desires, and suggestions from the Conversation Point community. We encourage leaders to briefly share key points related to the topic and then open each conversation with a prepared question designed to set the tone and allow guests to feel comfortable with each other. Conversations deepen as attendees seek greater understanding and support each other.
Conversation Point can be thought of as a system for encouraging participation and collaboration, as well as a tool providing opportunities to learn and connect. As the system grows, members of the Conversation Point community continue to uncover more ways to provide value to each other.
