From nightly tribal gatherings around the campfire to political meetings in local taverns, from neighborhood and family discussions around the kitchen table to bartering in the market, from classroom debate to spiritual sharing, meaningful conversation births our humanity.
Because meaningful conversation has largely disappeared from our daily lives in recent years, we’re losing our humanity. Still, our strong urge to speak and be heard, to listen and to understand, to be fully human, remains alive.
